Legacy Fund

Completed in 1904, our Bernard Maybeck Clubhouse is a designated historical landmark, a piece of Mill Valley history, and home to many joyful gatherings.

The Legacy Fund was created in 2019 by the Outdoor Art Club Board of Directors to secure the financial resources needed to preserve, protect and ensure the long-term viability of the OAC’s beloved Clubhouse and grounds.

The Legacy Fund accepts a variety of monetary and non-monetary charitable contributions including memorial gifts honoring OAC members and testamentary gifts included in estate plans.

You can support the Outdoor Art Club Legacy Fund with a gift that costs nothing to make now, is easy to arrange, and remains under your control.

 Gifts in Wills & Trusts

You can make a gift to the Legacy Fund in your will or revocable living trust simply by adding wording like this to your will or trust document:

I give to the Outdoor Art Club, a California nonprofit organization, Tax ID 94-1013978, located at One West Blithedale Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941, { _______ % of my estate OR description of asset OR $ _______________ dollars } for the Outdoor Art Club Legacy Fund and the long-term preservation of the Outdoor Art Club’s beloved clubhouse and grounds.

Gifts by designation

You can make a gift by designation to the Legacy Fund simply by naming the Outdoor Art Club as a full or partial beneficiary of your IRA or other retirement plan, life insurance policy, brokerage account or donor advised fund.  You can request a beneficiary designation form on which to include the Outdoor Art Club Legacy Fund from your account administrator.
