Marin Villages: Helping Older Adults Lead Active Lives

Please join John Power, Executive Director of Marin Villages, as he describes this wonderful nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults successfully remain in their homes, continue to lead active lives, and stay connected to their communities. Recipient of a 2023-24 OAC Community Outreach Grant, Marin Villages relies upon a ‘Neighbors helping Neighbors’ model. In addition to providing a history of the Village Movement, its continuing growth nationwide, and the on-going successful work of Marin Villages within our own community, John will outline for us what opportunities there are for volunteering and the benefits one might enjoy through membership.
