Daniel Castor is both a skilled architect and talented artist. He recently embarked on a series of constructions that are artistic and also educational. These include a large camera obscura on wheels, anamorphic projections, complex polyhedra, solar mapping studies plus the grandmother of all disco balls. Last summer he installed a 30 ft. “Sunflower for Ukraine” at the Marin County Fair. In his talk, Daniel will explain how his complex visual work explores the relationships between art, architecture and community.
