American Cultural Complexes

Dr. Tom Singer, Psychiatrist and Jungian Psychoanalyst, renowned author and Mill Valley resident will talk about his new book A Field Guide to American Cultural Complexes: The Battleground of the Splintered American Psyche. This book is a comprehensive guide to the various species of cultural complexes that threaten to take over our collective and individual psyches. He will share stories along with mesmerizing photographs from the book to establish a framework of the impact of our culture on individual and communal psyche.

Dr. Singer is the editor of the seven volume Cultural Complex Series and the three volume series of Ancient Greece, Modern Psyche. He has served on the board of ARAS (The Archives for Research in Archetypal Symbolism) for many years and edits ARAS Connections.
